Four active programs running right now across Alabama, every one funded by the AV Circle.
A four-day fellowship for healing trauma through Post-Traumatic Growth and Wellbeing. Fishing, shooting, and kayaking combined with equine and art therapy create a powerful space for self-reflection and lasting recovery.
Addressing the unique transitions and traumas experienced by veterans' spouses, with the goal of countering high divorce rates among combat veterans. The program fosters open communication, reconciliation, and the tools couples need to navigate their PTG journey together.
Led by certified veteran peer-support specialists, these individual and group sessions held at safe locations statewide provide mentoring, camaraderie, and belonging. They serve as a force multiplier for every other AV initiative across the state.
Ambassadors engage veterans statewide through mentoring, outdoor activities, and resource facilitation. They also provide immediate 9-Line crisis response, connecting veterans in need with housing, food, clothing, and support when it matters most.

How are donations used to support veterans?
Your contributions fund Warrior Retreats, Marriage Retreats, Peer-to-Peer support, the AV Ambassador Program, Operation Christmas Elf, temporary housing, and direct assistance for utilities, food, vehicle repairs, clothing, and VA benefit navigation.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. All donations to Alabama Veteran are fully tax-deductible. You will receive an official receipt immediately after your contribution. Corporate sponsors also receive an annual acknowledgment letter for CSR reporting. Our 990s are publicly available at alabamaveteran.org.
What do corporate sponsors receive?
Depending on your tier, you receive logo placement on our website and at events, the official Proud Supporter badge and full brand package, social media recognition, named program sponsorships, press announcements, employee engagement opportunities, and more. Full details are listed in each tier above.
Can my employees get involved too?
Absolutely. Titan Society and Champions League members receive employee engagement packages including volunteering at events, attending Warrior Retreats as supporters, and participating in fundraising campaigns. Contact us to build a custom program for your company.
Is there a minimum donation amount?
For individual supporters there is no minimum. Corporate tiers start at $250 per month. For custom packages, contact us at info@alabamaveteran.org and we will build something that works for your organization.
How does Alabama Veteran ensure transparency?
Approved financial disclosures are published through the organization’s public filing links. Program-allocation claims must be verified before publication.
